Can I make my meal kit vegetarian or vegan?
Yes, we include a list of all the dietary requests and allergens we can accommodate that you will mark off during the sign-up process. Please note that we do not allow any substitutions or modifications to the Whole Protein & Veggie Focused Dinners.
I missed the cutoff for this week’s delivery, what do I do?
No worries, we will just include you with the next week’s orders.

I just placed my first order – when will it show up at my door?
Our order week starts every Thursday and runs through Wednesday for a delivery that following Sunday. So, if you sign-up and complete your payment Friday, November 9, that order week ends on Wednesday, November 14, and your first delivery will be the following Sunday, November 18. Once-a-week subscriptions will arrive every Sunday after that. If you chose to receive your meal kits every other week, expect the next delivery 2 weeks later. Or if you ordered once a month, the deliveries will arrive every 4th week.
When do you pick up the empty and clean containers?
We will pick them up the next time we deliver! Just make sure they are patiently waiting for us in your delivery location on the next day you receive a meal kit.
How do I change my delivery address?
Contact us here and we'll get your delivery address updated in our system.

How do I cook my meals?
Every week you will receive an instructional sheet in your meal kit with specific instructions on reheating and/or cooking your meals. Please put on your fridge for the week so you don’t miss a step!
Can we microwave the containers?
While we do not condone using a microwave, we understand sometimes it necessary. Please transfer your food in to a microwave safe dish first.
What if I break a jar or dish?
Please let us know via email (thegoodbitekitchen@gmail.com). We understand accidents happen and if you let us know we will cover the cost. If you do not inform us we will think you kept it for your personal collection and you will be charged for it.

I have food allergies...
Seemingly more and more people have allergies and intolerances. We will do our best to cater your meals based on your preferences. Please understand that some substitutions will not be made in-house and we will have to rely on store-bought items, specifically gluten free substitutions. For our Whole Protein & Veggie Focused Dinners, please understand that we do not allow any substitutions or modifications.
Can I add an extra casserole one week, I have company coming?
Most likely yes, but please email us directly regarding your needs.
Do meals come fresh or frozen?
Always fresh, never frozen. If you need to freeze something because you have a busy week and most likely won’t get to eat it, see answer below about storage and freezing….
How long will my meals last in the fridge?
We make everything so fresh that your food will last well over a week in the fridge, especially pre-cooked items like soups and stews. However, if you don’t think you’ll eat something most items can be frozen for a later date.
Is your facility gluten-free?
No, we make our own breads in-house as well as utilize outside bakers and vendors who use flour. We offer items “without gluten” but we cannot guarantee it will not contain any cross contamination – although we try our best!
How healthy is the food?
We believe our meals fall in to the healthy category for several reasons even though it is a general term. Yes we use local ingredients and lots of vegetables. However some meals may not be “calorie-healthy” where as we make a pasta and sausage casserole bake with pasta made my hand from Vermont Fresh Pasta and sausage made just down the road in Keeseville at Mace Chasm Farm.
